Post-Production progress: Titles.

I've officially decided to finish the trailer off independently. I've completed near enough 99% of the 'groups' trailer and i felt it's crucial for the group to have some involvement with the editing as they all need to have developed their skills in some way. As I've mentioned before I'd received feedback that the trailer was unclear. There were a few options available to try solve this. I believed the footage was adequate yet to clarify it's intent i want to add titles in between some shots.

In order to show a continuing style i felt it's most appropriate to have rhetorical questions. I believe this will have a strong impact, will evoke enigmatic questioning and will imply the content of that particular episode.

It's conventional that a soap trailer would have a voice over to announce a simple title that's specific to a main storyline. Although as my trailer is an introduction to a soap i may consider inputting more than one phrase.

Titles i've brainstormed:

- Who's getting the sack this week?
- Who's feeling the crunch?
- Who's not surviving?
- Who's losing the race?
- How are you surviving?
- They're feeling the pinch/squeeze
- They're taking each day as it comes
- Can you last another month?

*As big name soaps have easily recognisable characters there have no need to feature the title of the show on the trailer. As this trailer is introducing a new show it is important that audience's know what the program's called.
